In 2010
Ephesians chapter 3 verses 20 and 21 (NRSV):
Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask, or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.
Greater things have yet to come
Greater things are still to be done.
Pray with expectation through the year!
In 2007 we took as our encouragement the words of the angel to Mary, "With God nothing is impossible". We saw God strengthen our faith
In 2008 we asked God for refreshing streams from his Holy Spirit. We gradually gained a sense of anticipation and slowly saw growth of new people in our church. But we still wanted more from God!
In 2009 we believe God called us to persevere in our faith, in our prayer and in living our Christian lives. He does not promise it will be easy but he does promise he will be with us as we "keep on keeping on"!
2010: Greater things have yet to come
- A year of expectation for which we have been building foundations
- We don't forget what God has done in the past, but we expect more!
- We look, prayerfully, for new and exciting things from God amongst us this year!
