Marriage Week UK
7–14 February 2017
The vision of Marriage Week International is to encourage the development and support of Marriage Week in 75 nations of the World by 2021. Marriage Week celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of marriage as the basis for family life. …
We are convinced that marriage is a brilliant institution that all of society should celebrate. Hence Marriage Week, a time to say “Wake up. Marriage is a great idea”, and since a healthy marriage is a skill, let’s learn some new skills to turn our marriages from good to very good!
We believe that a great marriage can be learnt, just the same way as a person can learn to read a book, drive a car or ski down a mountain.
What’s on offer in Frodsham?
Let’s Stick Together is a short session of just one hour for couples. It includes some of the skills that couples can use to turn their marriage from good to very good. Stop bad habits and start good habits — we’d probably all agree with that, but how, exactly do we do this? Originally written for couples who are expecting or learning to live with their first baby, Let’s Stick Together is also a useful session for all couples who would like to stick together! Life with a baby or a young child can be both exciting and exhausting — how do you protect your relationship against the pressures that parenting brings? Against the pressures that life brings?
